A clear path from standards to daily lessons
Map the Landmarks (standards), Routes (units), and Checkpoints (lessons) that lead every student toward mastery. Start by Scouting the Standards, then keep the journey aligned.
Find the landmarks, empower lesson alignment
Each student's learning journey needs to be aligned to the Standards, which act as fixed Landmarks guiding learning from the very first moments of school. The Units we design become the Routes that move students toward each Landmark, and our daily Lessons serve as the Checkpoints that keep the journey on track.
Districts often create Curriculum Maps to outline how classrooms will guide students toward these learning Landmarks. This site is designed to simplify the work of mapping the entire journey-starting with the Standards. And as with any journey, the first step is understanding the terrain ahead. That's why the work begins by Scouting the Standards.

Standards are the fixed points. Everyone can see and agree on where we're heading.

Units are the planned paths to each Landmark, sequenced and visible for teams.

Lessons keep students on track each day. Checkpoints ensure we're still on course.
